Confidence in UK manufacturing following Northern Manufacturing & Electronics 2016

We had a successful time at Northern Manufacturing & Electronics 2016 last week.  The first day was particularly busy, and it was interesting to see both exhibitors and visitors from further afield including Scotland.  Visitors to our stand were particularly interested in PCBs, which isn’t surprising as we specialise in them!   We also had queries about design support, something else that we work hard to deliver, ensuring that customers have the correct design right at prototype for their products and applications.  LEDs and lighting are still going strong, and  we can produce boards of up to 1.5m – something that a lot of CEMs aren’t able to do.

We had many discussions with visitors and other suppliers about industrial applications, and the general state of the UK’s manufacturing industry, and we’re pleased to say its all positive!
